Life Changes = Beneficiary Changes

Updated: Sep 1, 2021

Your beneficiary forms are an integral part of your estate plan. Most people’s greatest assets are their retirement account savings.

Retirement accounts and life insurance (along with any other accounts with transfer on death rights) are transferred to the people on your beneficiary forms, and not distributed as part of your estate. Are your beneficiary forms up to date?

Recently married? Make sure your spouse doesn’t still have their parent or sibling listed as their beneficiary. Divorced or separated? Make sure your beneficiary forms have been changed.

As life changes, make sure your estate plan changes with you.

It's never too late (or too soon) to get started on your plan. Schedule a complimentary phone call with me and let's begin the conversation today.
